Dr. Wanda Costen
Dr. Wanda Costen is an accomplished academic leader and a champion of inclusive excellence in business and academia. Prior to joining Â鶹´«Ã½, she served as Dean of the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario) and the School of Business at MacEwan University (Edmonton, Alberta). She has also held academic appointments at Northern Arizona University and the University of Tennessee.
A former Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Costen’s research focuses on managing diversity, addressing racial and gender inequality in organizations, women in leadership, strategic human resources, and ethnic minority student experiences. Renowned for her collaborative leadership style, she is dedicated to fostering inclusion and reimagining business education to meet the evolving needs of organizations and prepare emerging leaders for success.
Dr. Costen holds a PhD in Sociology from Washington State University, an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy. In addition to her academic career, she has extensive private and public sector experience in sales, operations, and human resources.
Currently, Dr. Costen serves on the EQUIS advisory committee for the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Â
