The Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital’s research institute (the Bloorview Research Institute) is accepting submissions for the 2018 Pursuit Award competition, recognizing PhD students and recent alumni from across the globe for their outstanding contributions to and achievements in childhood disability research.
Current PhD students (less than six months away from defense), postdoctoral trainees, and recent graduates (within one year of receiving their PhD) are eligible to receive this award.Â
The top three candidates will be invited to present their research and compete during the annual Pursuit Award Ceremony at Holland Bloorview on May 15, 2018. Up to three cash prizes will be awarded:
- 1st place: $3,000
- 2nd place: $2,000
- 3rd place: $1,000
Finalists may also be eligible for a prestigious post-doctoral fellowship at the Bloorview Research Institute. All travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
The application deadline is February 2 at 6pm AST.
