A new funding opportunity to support early-career investigators is available through the . The ESA aims to establish and advance promising early career scientists and clinician scientists from across Canada with a focused commitment to undertaking cancer research. Each award is valued at up to $120k per year for 5 years.

The goal is to fund competitive applications from across Canada, ideally at least one from each province. CCS is also aiming to support 2-3 awards focused on Prevention or Survivorship research.
