±·³§·¡¸é°ä’sÌýÌý(CREATE) program awards grants of up to $1.65M over six years for the development of innovative training programs that enhance collaboration and facilitate the transition of trainees to productive employees in the Canadian workforce.
Changes from 2025 Competition Year
NSERC has removed their quota system for this coming year’s Letter of Intent (LOI) phase allowing for an unlimited number of LOIs to be submitted per institution. This means last year’s internal Expression of Interest phase has been withdrawn. However, the LOI stage will be semi-competitiveÌý-ÌýNSERC willÌýselectÌýa specific number of LOIs from each institution toÌýadvance toÌýthe application stage.ÌýThe number of LOIs that will be selected from Â鶹´«Ã½ submissions is two (2).
Given these program changes, Â鶹´«Ã½ will not be undertaking an internal LOI selection process as we have done in previous years.
To accommodate these changes, please see below for important dates related to this funding program. Interested applicant teams are encouraged to contact their Faculty (e.g. Faculty Research Facilitator) to inquire after any additional deadlines internal to their department and/or Faculty.
