NSERC has encountered delays in posting key documentation for the upcoming NSERC CREATE 2026 Competition. They will not be posting Form 187 until March 17 and the updated instructions/guidelines will not become available until March 21.Ìý Ìý

Given that these are critical tools required by Â鶹´«Ã½ applicant teams to generate complete, thorough, and meaningful Letter of Intent (LOI) packages for review by departments, faculties, and ORS,Ìýwe will be rescheduling ORS' Internal Deadline for CREATE LOIs to March 27. This will provide teams with one additional week to ensure their LOI draft packages (minus the DAL VPRI Letter of Support) align with 2026 program guidelines and are substantively complete.

All other deadlines will remain the same (e.g. Draft VPRI LOS is still due April 10).Ìý Any teams that have already submitted to ROMEO may contact Dr. Jim Karle directly (j.karle@dal.ca) with updated documentation and he will assist them with attaching that information to ROMEO.
