Women’s Rugby
The DAL AC team had a great final on Sunday , but lost in overtime to MTA.Ìý The match started with MTA on the board first (7-0) but the Rams went up 15 – 7 with tenacious defending and quick runs.Ìý Through the second half the play was back and forth and the Rams forced overtime with a try in the last minute of regulation.Ìý It took the second overtime to decide the winner, when MTA kicked for three to win 23-20. ÌýAll-Conference team members for the Rams were Holly Morton, Becky Blank, Joan Cole, Jeannette Van der Linden and Georgia Lewis. ÌýÌýÌýRam’s Whitney Shaver was selected as ACAA Rookie of the Year.
