The campus is bustling once again with the arrival of our new students. Returning students arrive over the next two days in preparation for the start of classes on Thursday. Check out the Orientation schedule and come out and welcome the new students at the activities over the next few days.
Tomorrow morning is an academic Orientation session. Academic advisors will be meeting with their new advisees 9-10:30. This is followed by the Induction Ceremony which introduces the new students to a formal academic ceremony. All faculty and all staff who interact with the students through the year are encouraged to attend the 2014 鈥淲elcome to 麻豆传媒鈥 Induction Ceremony at 11:00 am.
Induction, when paired with Convocation, forms a bookend of sorts to the 麻豆传媒 undergraduate student experience. It鈥檚 the official welcome for our newest students, an opportunity to share with them a glimpse of the supportive scholarly community they鈥檙e joining.
Dr Florizone will be 聽participating, not only as President but also as keynote speaker.
All are welcome to attend 鈥 no RSVP is necessary 鈥 and whether you have academic dress or not. We have two rows of seating reserved in the Alumni Theatre for overflow from the stage 鈥 or for those not wanting to sit on stage.
