Are you interested in learning more about the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition process? Ìý ÌýAre you interested in getting involved in the Faculty of Agriculture’s international projects and/or Competency Based Education models and methods?
If you’ve answered yes to one or both of these questions then you are invited to submit your name and a brief description of your interest in this Ìýfor a PLAR training workshop offered by the
The training will be held on campus and there are limited seats available.Ìý The training will be held over 2 full days (December 17th and 19th, 2014) and your full participation will be expected Ìýon both days. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The two day PLAR Foundations Workshop will introduce participants to the principles, methods and practices of Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition. This will provide a foundational understanding of PLAR.

ÌýWhile this is PD opportunity is funded by the International Office, the opportunity is offered to those willing Ìýto use their new skills in activities relating to the Faculty’s international projects (either in-Canada or abroad)‎ or to training and curriculum initiatives within the Faculty of Agriculture's academic programming.
