Beginning the week of October 30, construction will begin on the听upper floor of the MacRae Library. This will result in disruptions heard on the middle (main floor) of the Library.听For quiet study spaces, patrons are encouraged to check out our recently refreshed lower听level, with over 50 颈苍诲颈惫颈诲耻补濒听飞辞谤办蝉辫补肠别蝉 and group study rooms.
We can鈥檛 wait to serve our community in the completely renovated upper level,听expected to reopen in April 2018. The new Student Learning Commons will be a space unlike any other on campus, combining academic library services and student collaboration spaces in an open-concept design with lots of natural light, glass and bright colours.
Features of the new Student Learning Commons include:

路听听听听听听听听 gender neutral washrooms
路听听听听听听听听 hand and foot washing stations
路听听听听听听听听 a self-serve caf茅
路听听听听听听听听 a bookable video conferencing room for students
路听听听听听听听听 a dividable program room with capacity for up to 60 people,
bookable by student societies, staff, and faculty
路听听听听听听听听 a living wall
路听听听听听听听听 an Aboriginal mural
路听听听听听听听听 a variety of seating options
