To help celebrate Welcome Week 2018, The Faculty of Agriculture is profiling some of the people you will meet across the campus community in your travels on your new path at the Faculty of Agriculture.

Where are you from?

I grew up in Bridgewater, NS, but lived in California for 25 years before I came to the AC.

What do you do at Dal?

I’m the Assistant Dean, Students & Academic Administration. I help students with academic concerns, take care of academic HR issues, and am responsible for academic integrity.

What is your favorite part about working at the AC?

I love the campus community. We all know each other and work together to make this a wonderful place for students to grow and learn.

What is one piece of advice you would give students?

Get engaged! Find a club or activity that interests you, meet other students, participate in events – that is how you will make the connections with others that will make your university experience memorable.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I like to garden, kayak, and create things. You might find me in the library working on crocheting, or taking pictures of campus events, or walking along the campus trail.
