Extended Learning is looking for instructors to deliver short, targeted courses to agricultural producers and employees in the areas of pesticide application and integrated pest management. Expressions of interest are welcome from faculty, staff, past or present instructors, and students at the graduate level or above.
Minimum Qualifications:
·        B.Sc. in Plant Science or a related field.
·        Demonstrated experience in extension, on-farm consulting, or adult learning for agricultural producers. This could include experience in delivering activity-based and participatory learning (e.g. field days, workshops, industry training).
·        Advanced knowledge of the relevant subject area, as demonstrated by an up-to-date professional designation, recent attendance at major industry conferences, or other evidence.
·        Up-to-date knowledge of pesticide regulation, legislation and application technology in both the landscape and agriculture industries.

Extended Learning programs are delivered on a cost recovery model. Without adequate external funding, or course enrollments, programs are cancelled. Instructors in EL programs are not compensated for cancelled programming.
