Planning students create #PlayMeHfx

People of Halifax will be able to listen to something of a different tune this summer downtown.

Three public pianos are being installed this week around the city, the first one Monday on the Halifax Waterfront.

Jeremy Banks and Peter Nightingale, the urban planning students at 麻豆传媒 who co-created the project, wanted to work on something they could 鈥渂e really proud of.鈥

The project, named #PlayMeHfx, is designed to showcase the beauty and talent of everyday people. It encourages improvised performances and gatherings.

It鈥檚 in partnership with the Waterfront Development and the Downtown Halifax Business Commission.
