Â鶹´«Ã½ My Teaching
My general research goal has been to answer basic biological questions in the fields of neurobiology, developmental biology, and genetics using model organisms such as Drosophila and Zebrafish. Using knowledge and tools from these fields, my goal in the classroom is to take the students on a journey to understand how the nervous system and behavior develop. Learning through the lens of research, students better understand the roles of genetic, developmental, and environmental factors in the formation and function of the nervous system.
