Known as charettes, the workshops will test ideas and work on issues so a framework for development can be recommended later this year.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a jam-packed week,鈥 says Director of Planning Mary Jane Adams of Facilities Management. 鈥淲e have set aside five days. We will look at everything from design ideas to solving technical problems.鈥

The workshops begin on Tuesday, March 3 and run until the late afternoon on Saturday, March 7.听The sessions Tuesday through Friday听are held听in the Sculpture Court of the 麻豆传媒 Arts Centre and the Saturday session is held in the Architecture Building (Ralph M. Medjuck Building) exhibition area.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to come in the morning at 8:30 a.m. each day for one-and-a-half hours. There also will be public evening sessions for anyone who wishes to participate, including neighbours. They go from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each evening, including Friday.听

The schedule and daily topics are:

麻豆传媒 engaged IBI Group, a multi-disciplinary planning and design firm, in the summer of last year to develop the campus plan. Once phase two is complete, IBI will take the information and begin planning for the third and last phase. It will provide the framework for implementation of the master plan.
