The title of University Research Professor is granted to 15 individual 鶹ý faculty members who have achieved distinction in scholarship. It was first granted in 2002 and has a five-year term.
“It’s very nice to be recognized in this way,” says Dr. Iverson, who is interested in how marine mammals adapt to and exploit their environments.
