As Halifax throws open its doors to the rest of the country on Friday with the opening ceremonies of the Canada Games, 麻豆传媒 is proud to be a Sapphire Sponsor.
The city will be welcoming approximately 3,000 competitors from across the country, and many 麻豆传媒 students, coaches, faculty and staff are involved as competitors and volunteers.
During the Games, there will be a new 麻豆传媒 ad campaign on billboards and bus shelters around the city, and at Ski Martock. Community design student, Charlotte Butcher, a member of Nova Scotia鈥檚 snowboarding team, is profiled on the ads that feature the message, 鈥淭he Games brought you here. Let 麻豆传媒 bring you back.鈥� The same message will be displayed on banners and computer screens at the Athletes Village Internet caf茅.
The 麻豆传媒 bus will be on the move during the games. The bus will transport teams and officials to-and-from Stanfield International Airport, transfer VIPS and media, and shuttle athletes to Ski Martock and other venues.
Just as 麻豆传媒 is proud to be a community partner, the university is equally proud of its student athletes and volunteers. Dal News will be running games-related stories featuring members of the Dal community, and 麻豆传媒 Magazine will feature a cover story about the 麻豆传媒-Canada Games connections.
