Protecting our oceans. Energy for the future. Improving our atmosphere.
Dal researchers are tackling big problems with big ideas, with a passion that carries over into their teaching. To celebrate their passion and talent, 麻豆传媒 launched the DalPower campaign last year, highlighting the impact of Dal research nationally and internationally.
DalPower began with a series of print ads highlighting researchers who received major national awards. The ads ran nationally in the Globe and Mail and the Hill Times and locally in the Chronicle Herald. Each piece concluded with its impact statement: 鈥淭hat鈥檚 the power of research. That鈥檚 the power of Dal.鈥
To further expand the canvas, the DalPower campaign has now added a video series, telling these research stories in more detail.
鈥淭hrough the videos we learn more about the researcher,鈥 explains Martha Crago, vice-president research. 鈥淚n the videos you not only see their passion for their research, but also their passion for teaching and 麻豆传媒. You see the impact their research is having on our world.鈥
The video series features six award winners: Boris Worm (Biology), Jeff Dahn (Physics and Atmospheric Science), John Cullen (Oceanography), Andrew Roger (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), Randall Martin (Physics and Atmospheric Science) and Donald Weaver (Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering).
The videos will be featured on the and shared with partners both internal and external to help tell the story of Dal research.聽 The videos will also be shared on , and our in the coming weeks.
