Colleen Wilson, Cross Country
Fourth-year runner Colleen Wilson is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.
Colleen raced to a first place finish at the Subway AUS Cross Country Championship hosted By Thomas in Fredericton, N.B. on Saturday.
She clocked in at 21:46.6 in the 6km event, setting a new course record at O’Dell Park, and earning AUS all-star and MVP honours.
She led the Tigers to a perfect race (the Tigers placed first to fifth) and their third consecutive AUS championship title.
The Tigers head to the CIS championships November 14 at the University of Guelph
Colleen is from Ancaster, O.N, and is an oceanography student.

Matt McNeil, Cross Country
Fifth-year runner Matt McNeil is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.
Matt was the first to cross the finish line at the Subway AUS Cross Country Championship in Fredericton, N.B. over the weekend.
He continued his undefeated streak, setting a new course record and winning the 10km event in a time of 31:14.1, nearly 40 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. As the top finisher, Matt was named the AUS MVP in addition to being an AUS all-star.
A native of Saint John, N.B., Matt is an engineering student.
