Fifth-year striker Jensen Hudder is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Female Athlete of the Week.
Jensen scored three goals to lead the Tigers to a 2-0 start to the regular season over the weekend.
In Friday night’s home opener, Jensen tallied the winning goal in the Tigers 2-1 win over Saint Mary’s with just 10 players on the field.
On Sunday, she scored two of the Tigers three goals in their 3-1 win over Mount Allison in New Brunswick.
With her three goals, she is currently tied for first in AUS regular season scoring.
An engineering student, Jensen is from White’s Lake, N.S.
Ben Grondin, Soccer
Second-year keeper Ben Grondin is this week’s MUSCLE MLK Male Athlete of the Week.
Ben posted two shutouts this past weekend, leading the Tigers to a 1-0-1 start to the regular season.
In Friday night’s home opener, he turned away all eight shots he faced to lead the Tigers to a 0-0 draw with Saint Mary’s.
He was sharp again Sunday afternoon, making five saves in the Tigers 4-0 win over the Mount Allison Mounties in New Brunswick.
A native of Calgary, Alta., Ben is a commerce student.
