Tigers Weekend Action (week ending March 20)

The women's and men's track and field teams defended their AUS titles this weekend.
The women's and men's track and field teams defended their AUS titles this weekend.

It was an amazing week for the Tigers who combined to win six of a possible seven conference championship titles this past weekend.

Women's Volleyball 

The women's volleyball team got things started winning the best 2-of-3 AUS championship series with Saint Mary's in two-straight matches Wednesday and Thursday night. It is the ninth-consecutive championship title for the Tigers who head to the national championships in Calgary March 25-27, 2022.


Track and Field 

The women's track and field team won their 32nd-consecutive AUS championship title while the men captured their seventh-straight conference championship. Both teams are off to the U SPORTS Championships hosted by the UNB REDS March 31-April in Saint John, New Brunswick.


°ä³Ü°ù±ô¾±²Ô²µÌý

The men's curling team won their fourth-consecutive AUS championship title after going 3-0 in the round robin and defeating Memorial 7-3 in the championship game. The women won their third-consecutive conference banner with a 4-3 win over the Memorial Sea-Hawks in the final. They also posted a perfect 3-0 round robin result to earn a by to the final.

Men's Basketball 

The men's basketball team captured their third-consecutive conference championship title over the weekend at the 2022 Subway AUS Basketball Championship at the Scotiabank Centre. They'll look to improve upon their national silver medal performance from the 2019-20 season April 1-3 at the national championships hosted by the University of Alberta.
