Shamar Burrows of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Tigers men’s basketball team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Dec. 4, 2022.
A fifth-year public administration student in his fourth year of eligibility from Nassau, Bahamas, Burrows led the Tigers to an 83-53 victory Dec. 1 over the Acadia Axemen.
He scored 22 points in the win, going 10-13 from the field, and added seven rebounds, six assists and three steals. He was named Subway Player of the Game for his efforts.
At the end of first semester play, Burrows leads the conference in steals with 23 on the season.
