Posted by University of King's College on February 22, 2013 in Job Postings

The University of King鈥檚 College invites applications for Residence Donships for the 2013-14 academic year.

Dons exercise general disciplinary duties within the precincts of the College, especially within their designated Bay or Floor. They are expected to make a significant contribution to the intellectual life of the College and to assist students through programming initiatives, individual support and referrals, and through initial crisis response. Together the dons form the core of the residence staff team, working together on a daily basis to coordinate their efforts as a team and as individuals. Dons are also required to attend bi-weekly staff meetings.

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree of at least one year鈥檚 standing and interest in being members of a small, dynamic university community. Former students of the College are expected to have at least one year between graduation and taking up the position.

Remuneration is a furnished two room suite (with private bath), a meal plan, and full access to all College amenities. Dons鈥 accommodations are best suited to single people.

Dons are expected to be fully moved in to their accommodations no later than August 21, 2013.

鈥⒙犅 聽April 28, 2014: Dons may leave residence.
