JOB SUMMARY: The instructor’s duties involve full responsibility for the course: lecture to students in co-operation with a retired senior public servant, hold office hours, develop course outline in co-operation with the retired senior public servant, prepare and grade assignments, tests and exams. Further information on the class can be obtained from the Philosophy Department and the School of Public Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Ph.D. (Philosophy); specialization in the subject matter of the course, in particular in Business Ethics and Ethics more broadly construed; and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Specialization will be determined on the basis of teaching experience and/or research experience. Teaching experience shall be in upper level classes (third year, fourth year and graduate level) dealing with this subject matter. Research experience shall include either a completed PhD dissertation, or substantial publications in recognized journals, both squarely in the subject matter of the course.
