POSITIONS: Laboratory Instructors (2 positions); Principles of Biology (Biology 1011); January 1, to April 30, 2014

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Biology

PAY RATE: $4,565.50-$5,583.00

WORK ASSIGNMENT: In consultation with the class coordinator, the laboratory instructor(s) will be responsible for the development and teaching of the laboratory component of the course; coordinate class TA鈥檚 and technicians; general administration (handling student issues, supervising TA鈥檚, submitting grades, invigilating exam and tests, etc.). The positions report to the Chair of the Department.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: The applicants will have an advanced degree in biology and previous, recent laboratory teaching experience in the related discipline. First-time applicants to the Department of Biology must provide the names of two references.
