POSITION:
One TA65 teaching assistant for each of the Fall & Winter terms of听 2013/2014 (2 positions)
听
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:
Chinese Studies

PAY RATE:
In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT:
听
Duties include, but are not limited to:
听
The Teaching Assistant will assist with CHIN 1030.06 Introduction to Mandarin Chinese
听
- Marking student assignments
- Assisting with class discussions
- Assisting students with course requirements
- Conducting tutorials
听
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Preference will be given to registered students of 麻豆传媒.听 This position requires native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.听 Previous TA experience preferred. Good interpersonal skills required to work with groups of students or for one-on-one interaction.
