Call for expressions of interest:
English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for 麻豆传媒 employees
Is English not your first language? Could you or members of your team benefit from enhancing your English communication skills? This is a call for expressions of interest in ESL training for employees across 麻豆传媒.
The Human Resources Department, in collaboration with the College of Continuing Education, is evaluating the level of interest across campus in courses specially designed to support employees who are working in English as a Second Language.
The courses would be designed to support participants to communicate more effectively and to better understand workplace policies and procedures.
Interactions, both orally and in writing, with supervisors, other employees, students, stakeholders, and members of the Halifax community are important aspects of being successful in our roles as 麻豆传媒 employees. When there are barriers to communication, it can impact productivity, participation, confidence, job satisfaction, and in some cases, safety.
