PART-TIME ACADEMIC POSTING

POSITION:   Sessional Instructor – PUAD 5100
(Organizational Designs for Governance and Public Management)
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: School of Public Administration
PAY RATE: As per the CUPE collective agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT:
The Sessional Instructor will be responsible for a half credit course in the area of Organizational Designs for Governance and Public Management offered to graduate students in the Master of Public Administration program. The Instructor will be responsible for all aspects of the teaching and administration of the class and be available for two hours per week outside class times for student consultations. The candidate reports to the Director of the School.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D or Ph.D candidates in the area of Organizational Design or candidates who have significant experience at senior levels of government (CDN). Preference will also be given to applicants with a Masters Degree or equivalent, who hold or have recently held positions at the executive level within government departments. Preference will be given to those applicants who have recent experience teaching Organizational Designs for Governance and Public Management.

(1 position Fall Term)
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: School of Public Administration
PAY RATE: In accordance with CUPE collective agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENTS: The Sessional Instructor will be responsible for a half credit course in the area of Program Evaluation offered to students in the second year of the Masters of Public Administration program. The Instructor will be responsible for all aspects of the teaching and administration of the class and be available for two hours per week outside class times for student consultations. The candidate reports to the Director of the School.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Preference will be given to applicants with a Phd or Phd candidates in the area of Program Evaluation. Preference will also be given to applicants with a Masters degree who hold or have recently held positions at the executive level within government departments. Previous teaching experience preferred.
