POSITION: Instructor (hourly paid position)
DEPARTMENT / LOCATION: School of Physiotherapy
SALARY / PAY RATE: As per CUPE
WORK ASSIGNMENT: PHYT 5501; PHYT 5502; PHYT 6502; PHYT 6503 Clinical Placements
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The instructor will monitor the delivery of clinical education to first and second year classes of physiotherapy students, and will act as a liaison with students, Clinical Instructors, and the School of Physiotherapy faculty and staff, in order to identify and address issues arising through the course of the clinical placements. The instructor will monitor clinical placement evaluations submitted by both students and Clinical Instructors.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: The Instructor must hold a license to practice physiotherapy and a post entry-to-practice graduate level degree in physiotherapy or in a related field. Experience as a clinical coordinator, clinical instructor, or equivalent is required.
