The AskMe! Campaign is an annual initiative where faculty and staff have the opportunity to welcome and support our new students when they arrive on campus in the fall.
Taking part is simple! Registered participants wear an AskMe! button to identify themselves as a resource to help students transition to university life and make them feel more at home at Â鶹´«Ã½. This could entail giving directions to specific locations, services or events on campus. The AskMe! Campaign runs from September 1 to 12, but you may wear your button for the month of September if you wish.
Departments from the Studley, Carleton, Sexton and Agricultural campuses are encouraged to register as a single unit in order to maximize the number of participants. Individuals who wish to register on their own are most welcome to do so, if their department is not participating. In late August registered participants will receive an AskMe! kit consisting of an AskMe! poster, buttons and informational booklet.
Register by August 8 for participation on the Halifax campus at: . Please contact Cheryl Smith at cheryl.smith@dal.ca or 494-8021 if you have any questions.
If you would like information regarding the AskMe! Campaign or to participate on the Agricultural campus, please contact Heather Doyle at heather.doyle@dal.ca or (902) 896-7022.
