WORK ASSIGNMENT:Ìý Using current standards and practices, the Sessional Instructor will be responsible for all aspects of developing, clinical teaching and administering this clinical education course. This includes developing content for web-based delivery, facilitating tutorials, assessing clinical competency, preparing and evaluating assignments and tests. This discipline specific course critically evaluates the theory and practice of clinical obstetrical ultrasound.Ìý Building on knowledge and concepts learned in Sonography in Obstetrics I (DMUT 2040) and II (DMUT 3000) and Clinical Practicum II (DMUT 2500), the learner will become competent in recognizing, identifying and documenting normal and abnormal obstetrical ultrasound examinations.Ìý The maximum enrolment for this course is 5 students.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Relevant training/experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, as well as relevant clinical obstetrical ultrasound experience. Current ARDMS and/or CARDUP certification.Ìý Undergraduate or master's degree preferred. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
