The Transatlantic Ocean System Science & Technology Research School (TOSST) is looking for highly qualified and motivated undergraduate students to join our unique program!
WHAT WE PROVIDE
We offer several scholarships to highly qualified and motivated students in ocean sciences or related fields, to study in Kiel, Germany or in Halifax, Canada, for 4-6 months. Successful candidates will receive scholarships of up to $7,000, based on the student’s travel, research and accommodation needs.

We select students with a minimum GPA of 3.5, and students with research interest that aligns with TOSST’s transatlantic themes of ecosystem hotspots, seafloor structures, and 4D ocean-atmosphere dynamics.

** We strongly encourage candidates to contact a TOSST/HOSST PhD to inquire about their research and project details.
Please indicate in your application email which project you are interested in. This is an open-call until positions are filled. As applications are received, the undergraduate committee will review each application in detail, and will contact selected individuals for an interview.
