Reporting to the Dean of the Faculty of Management, the Director is responsible for strategic planning for the school, its enrollment, academic and executive programs, personnel and budget as well as its general administration. The Director is also a faculty member. As such, the successful candidate will teach one course, maintain a research portfolio, and demonstrate respect for and a strong ability to work with students and foster their success. Following this appointment, the Director may enter a career-stream faculty position within the RSB at a rank appropriate to his/her qualifications.

The RSB is part of the Faculty of Management at Â鶹´«Ã½, one of Canada’s U15 group of leading research-oriented universities. We seek a leader who can motivate, inspire and mobilize others to achieve results.

The successful applicant must be a strong strategic planner who will elucidate a compelling vision for the RSB and align research and teaching initiatives in order to realize that vision. Knowledge and understanding of the competitive environment and the issues, risks, trends, and opportunities facing business schools both nationally and globally is required. This position is ideal for a candidate who can identify untapped opportunities and set priorities among strategically important projects, and who has experience fostering change and growth.
