A big congratulations goes out to Chris Crace of Dal’s Printing Services for earning a gold medal in the 9-hole golf event at the Special Olympics Summer Games held at Glen Arbour Golf Course in June of this year!
Chris has been golfing for over 23 years and has been competing in various sporting events at the Special Olympics for 19 of those years. In his long career as a Special Olympics athlete, Chris has brought home a number of medals and trophies for his success in golf, softball, floor hockey and bowling.
Chris may very well be one of the most familiar faces on campus as he has been at Dal for 43 years. His willingness to proudly bear his medals upon return from competition brings joy to the countless faculty and staff members he encounters on a daily basis. When seeing Chris with his latest hardware, Kelly Bronson of the School of Nursing reports, “[Chris] is so proud of it and we are proud of him as well.â€
Kudos to you, Chris. Keep going for the gold!
