We are making some changes to聽the search functionality of dal.ca, as we implement a new search provider聽in February 2019.听

This聽increase in functionality聽allows us聽to better tailor the search聽experience, ensuring聽users聽get聽more accurate results even faster.听聽

Some of the changes聽coming to dal.ca search:聽

路听听听听听听听听 The search page聽will look a little different.聽It will have聽a new layout,聽more functionality,聽and聽an updated search box.听

路听听听听听听听听 Results can be filtered.听Content can be narrowed down by multiple filters, such as聽file type (e.g., PDF).听

路听听听听听听听听 Autofill common search terms.聽More relevant search results will be tailored from聽common search terms.听

There will not be any impact聽for AEM users or how they manage their content (pages聽or files).听
