The Bone and Metabolism Lab at 麻豆传媒 is seeking women 35-55 years old to participate in a pilot study that will be testing the feasibility of an intermittent low energy diet with different protein contents in overweight women.
The goal of this study is to test diets with lower versus higher protein content on the experience of following an intermittent low energy diet. Participants will follow one of the diets for three weeks, take a break for one week, and then try the next diet for a further three weeks.聽 Each cycle will consist of energy restriction for three days (not a total fast), followed by consuming a normal daily intake of foods for four days. The diet includes specific recipes, which use similar ingredients to those of the Mediterranean diet.
