Job Title:听Business Marketing Summer Student 鈥� On-campus Summer Employment
Job Location: 麻豆传媒 - Truro
Rate of Pay Type:听听Hourly according to 麻豆传媒 Student Pay Scale

Job Description:

An enthusiastic student or recent graduate is needed to work in the Business and Social Sciences Department at 麻豆传媒 Agricultural Campus in Truro. The work will primarily consist of helping develop a recruitment strategy and marketing materials for the Department programs including IFB, Ag Bus, Ag Econ, and BTech: SBM programs.听 Assignments will include communicating with Department Faculty, Staff and on campus Marketing and Recruitment departments to accomplish tasks.听 Proposed activities may include:

• Updating the campus tour literature for the Department
• Developing material for social media
• Reviewing and updating material for website
• Developing materials to follow up with students who have applied with an interest to the one of the Department's programs
• Developing recruitment materials specifically targeting FAFU students
• Updating materials used to showcase the Department at recruiting events such as Community Day and Open House
• Developing human interest stories about students and alumni of the Department
• Determining jobs attained by alumni of programs听
  
  Job Requirements:听听听听听听听
  - Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  - Strong technical and computer skills, specifically MS Office suite
  - Demonstrated ability working independently or as a key contributor to a team
  - Knowledge of programs within the Department of Business and Social Sciences would be a strong asset
  鈥�- Knowledge and/or experience of marketing concepts, techniques, strategies, and promotion would be a strong asset
  -听 GPA above 3.0 strongly preferred
  - Familiar with social media applications
