PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT:  To teach LJSO 3000: Processes of Justice, which is scheduled to be offered on Monday and Wednesday evening 5.35 – 6.55 PM, in the fall 2019 term. The part-time academic’s duties include responsibility for planning the course, teaching the class, evaluating the students, and administration relating to the class.   The part-time academic must be available for consultation with students outside of class times.  This position will report to the Coordinator of the Law, Justice & Society Program.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  An LLB, JD, or LLM in Law, or a Master’s degree in Legal Studies (or equivalent professional experience); expertise in criminal and civil legal procedures, and in the processes of Alternative Dispute Resolution or Restorative Justice. Ability to teach effectively at the university level.
