POSITION: TA45—Teaching Assistant Position 45 hours for CMSD
5050: Fundamentals of Speech Science (Fall Term 2019 - September to December 2019)
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: School of Communication Sciences and Disorders
PAY RATE: In accordance with Agreement between Â鶹´«Ã½ and Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) - TA45 $1,098
WORK ASSIGNMENT:
- Tutorial lecture on logarithms
- Respiratory, Laryngeal, and Supralaryngeal Anatomy laboratories
- Demonstrating laboratory assignments
- Marking lab reports and exams
- Student support
- The Teaching Assistant will report to the Professor of Record for this course, Dr. Michael Kiefte
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
- 2nd Year Student in SCSD, in good standing
- Excellent writing/communication skills
- Thorough understanding of speech acoustics from CMSD 5050
