Position
Part-time Academic position teaching labs for course BIOA3008 (Growth, Reproduction and Lactation) in the 2019 fall semester.Ìý Labs for this course are scheduled for Wednesdays (1135-1325) and Fridays (1135-1325).Ìý The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

Department/Location -ÌýHaley Institute, Â鶹´«Ã½ Agricultural Campus.
Pay Rate: In accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement.
Work Assignment
The part-time academic is expected to work cohesively with the instructor responsible for the course, and will be responsible for lab preparation and instruction.Ìý This includes up toÌý 3 sections for each of the 12 weekly labs.Ìý Lab sessions focus on the reproductive anatomy of domestic animal species, and the incumbent will be responsible for some sourcing of anatomical material used in the labs, set up of the labs, and for disposal of materials.Ìý The incumbent is expected to mark formal lab reports; familiarity with the Brightspace system to provide information and in student assessment is an asset.
Requirements of Position
Previous experience teaching in post-secondary education, with excellent oral and written communication skills.Ìý A PhD or Masters Degree in Agriculture or related discipline is required.Ìý Experience in the field of physiology would be considered an asset.
