We wish to remind/inform all academic staff of the Studying for Success Program (Halifax Campuses) for the fall semester. Please share this info with students and other faculty and staff who may not have received it.
Faculty: Please let us know if you would like us to come in to one of your classes in September to introduce the program to your students. We can also come in to do in-class workshops for your students. Through workshops and individual coaching, students can receive help with managing their time more efficiently, reading more critically, being more engaged in class, preparing for exams and many more study skills. Students can also get course-specific tutoring support.
For students to make an appointment for an individual study skills session, attend a workshop, and/or sign up for the tutoring program, they can:
- visit our main office on Studley campus in SUB, room 426 (main office) or SUB 446A (study coaches' office)
- call (902) 494-3077
- email: sfs@dal.ca or
- simply drop in to see us during posted office hours                              Â
All this information can also be found on our website: www.dal.ca/sfs
Encourage your students to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter as we post relevant study skills info there.
For services on the Agricultural campus, contact Student Services in Truro at: Phone: (902) 893-6672 or Email: ssdalac@dal.ca
Thank you and please contact us if you need additional information or you would like us to come to one of your classes in the Fall (on Halifax Campuses).
