The School of Social Work is seeking teaching assistants for a number of courses being offered this spring and summer.

PAY RATE: $24.41/hour as per CUPE 3912 Collective Agreement.
WORK ASSIGNMENT: Duties may include preparation of teaching material, marking, invigilation, and communication with students and instructor.聽 For distance courses this may include additional online activities (e.g. monitoring online discussion boards).
*NOTE 鈥 SLWK 2335 TA: includes mandatory 2-week on-campus residency (May 4-15, 2020).聽 TA must be available to attend the residency in person 鈥 travel expenses are not covered.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:聽聽For BSW courses, enrollment in the MSW program or a graduate of a Social Work program.聽 For MSW courses, graduate of a Master of Social Work program (or all coursework, including field, completed).聽聽聽Applicants must have knowledge of, or experience in, the subject matter being taught.聽聽Must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.聽聽Previous instructional and evaluation experience and familiarity with online course tools are considered assets.
