The Student Accessibility Centre is aware that instructors will be confirming plans for distance course continuation and exams with students by Wednesday, March 18.
Given any potential alterations to your current syllabus e.g in-class exams to online exams, students may require accommodations or changes to their existing accommodation plans.
Per Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s Student Accommodation Policy students can request accommodation if an educational barrier is directly tied to a protected characteristic under Nova Scotia human rights legislation.
If there are aspects of the remote temporary teaching design, and/or remote temporary teaching environment, that result in barriers to students' inclusion please advise them to contact the Student Accessibility Centre - Halifax (access@dal.ca) or the Student Success Centre - Truro (ssdalac@dal.ca) to explore possible accommodations.
