What’s your favourite thing about working at Dal?
There are so many things I love about working at Dal! I love that I get to work with a wonderfully eclectic group of like-minded individuals who are as passionate about agriculture as I am. It’s nice to be able to talk plants, animals, food and environment with a group of people who don’t find it weird to end up on a farm tour while on holidays. I love that Â鶹´«Ã½ supports us as we follow our passions and contribute to food security and economic development. I also love that every day there are new projects and challenges to take on, which keeps the job engaging and meaningful. Ìý
ÌýWhat’s the most surprising thing we might see on your resume/cv?
I was a beverage cart girl at a high-end golf course for a couple of summers. Great job! Fresh air, sunshine and free golf!

ÌýWhen you're feeling tired out, what is your go-to strategy for regaining balance?
Ìý
My go -o therapy is gardening. Before I was absorbed into the wonderful world of Curriculum and International Development, I was — and am — first and foremost a horticulturist at heart. I’m most happy when I’m puttering in my backyard or community garden where I grow mostly vegetable and herb crops. As cliché as it sounds, I find balance in nature.Ìý
