Position Title: RESEARCH ASSISTANT 鈥 WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT

Start date: As soon as possible
End date: December 20, 2022
Location: 麻豆传媒
Remuneration: $18.00 - $25.91 commensurate with experience
Workload: 5-10 hr/week

Description
We are looking for a student to assist with the development and launch of a website for a new research lab at 麻豆传媒 titled: the Professional Motivation Research Lab. The website will serve to publicize project goals, progress, interim and final results.

The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in - person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

Responsibilities
The Research Assistant (RA) is expected to familiarize themselves with the study protocol prior to starting the position. The RA will work as a part of a research team. As a part of the position, the RA will have the following responsibilities:

鈥 Discuss the goals of the website with the research team
鈥 Design the appearance, layout and flow of the website
鈥 Produce sample pages to discuss with the team
鈥 Create content
鈥 Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls and generate web analytics
鈥 Prepare a detailed set of instructions as appropriate for ongoing maintenance and servicing

Qualifications
鈥 Currently enrolled in post-secondary education
鈥 Strong academic background (as evidenced by grades in course work)
鈥 Experience with website development
鈥 Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Wix, WordPress, etc.)
鈥 Attention to detail and strong written communication
鈥 Fluent in the English language
鈥 Asset: Graphic design experience
鈥 Asset: Experience with the development of research related websites
鈥 Asset: Experience working with academic research teams
鈥 Asset: Knowledge of the French language
