Man|Made is a five-week psychoeducational group for postsecondary men* that provides weekly facilitated conversation and peer modelling around healthy masculinity and sexuality. Man|Made is designed for both male peer leaders seeking to contribute to creating a world without violence, and for young men who have committed sexual violence. The program recognizes in these men the desire to grow and become agents of positive social change.
HOW TO JOIN THE GROUP: Email听HRES@dal.ca听
Man|Made is facilitated as 5 x 90-minute sessions/modules over consecutive weeks. Our time together in the program will focus on facilitated dialogue and reflective activities, fostering a space of peer connection, a modelling of healthy masculinity and a challenge to step into accountability. Core of the program is understanding intent vs. impact. Having participants understand that they may not have intended to cause harm but that their actions still resulted in harm.
Man|Made is open to student from 麻豆传媒 and University of King's College.
