Minimum admission requirements
To be considered for admission to this program, you must meet minimum academic criteria:
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
- Achievement of the minimum average for your program of choice.
- Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course).
Admission to many Â鶹´«Ã½ programs is competitive. This means that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

There is an optional internship available for Bachelor of Management students during their third year of study. Ìý

A major in Public Sector Management will equip you with the management skills required by public service organizations and an understanding of the organization, processes and policies of government, its public agencies and the policy groups that work in the public sector.
Careers
The public sector is made up of governments and their agencies, from the international to the local levels. It includes other publicly funded bodies, such as hospitals, schools, government corporations (e.g. CBC, Canada Post, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, etc.) and many not-for-profit organizations. Graduates from this major hold various positions in municipal, provincial, and federal government, as well as the not-for-profit and private sectors.
You can continue your studies with a master's degree in areas like information management; public administration; or resource and environmental management.
