Our staff is happy to work with you to find the right type of event to maximize your brand exposure on campus and ensure your event stands out amongst all the rest.

Avoid booking events around final exams (end of November to mid-December and the end of March to mid-April).

Information sessions

Target specific students and alumni at Dal by hosting an information session on campus. These events not only allow you to share information about your organization and career opportunities, but also give you direct access to our pool of talent.

Many employers schedule Information Sessions around the time of the聽Halifax Universities Career Fair (October) and the 麻豆传媒 Job & Career Fair (February).聽Student attendance rates tend to be higher in these periods.

Please note that we require a minimum of three-weeks notice to assist you in planning an on-campus information session.聽We are happy to promote any external events you have planned to our students. Please reach out to recruit@dal.ca to have your session added to our calendar

Employer workshops

Engage and prepare students with the skills and knowledge they鈥檒l require to become leaders within your organization by conducting a student workshop.

Many employers benefit from the opportunity of sharing their skills and expertise with motivated students. Plus, you'll also gain a firsthand look at today鈥檚 promising talent.

Employer panel events

This is your opportunity to team up with other employers in your industry to share ideas, tackle issues, and meet and interact with students.聽

Employer panel events are held year-round on a monthly basis.

Sponsored competitions

Support a career development activity or event at the Bissett Student Success Centre, while also maximizing your brand exposure on campus.

Corporate tours

Although we are always happy to welcome employers to campus, we also encourage you to invite our students to your facility.

Many students who are not in co-op are eager to get a first-hand look at the working environment. By providing an inside tour of your facility you鈥檒l have the opportunity to engage students eager to work for your organization.
