Halifax

Traditional residences

Students in traditional residences (Gerard Hall,ÌýHowe Hall,ÌýMini Res, Risley Hall,ÌýShirreff Hall ²¹²Ô»åÌýLeMarchant Place) are required to have a meal plan.

Students select a meal plan option when they accept their room offer. In addition to the Freedom Plan, which offers unlimited meals, two block plans are available for residents of LeMarchant Place.

The meal plan is included in their residence fees so there is no need to purchase one separately.

If your student has any questions about meeting their dietary needs in our dining halls, please encourage them to reach out to our dietitian.

Non-traditional residences

For students living in non-traditional residences (³Ò±ô±ð²Ô²µ²¹°ù²âÌý´¡±è²¹°ù³Ù³¾±ð²Ô³Ù²õ ²¹²Ô»åÌýGrad House), a meal plan is not required. However, students have the option of purchasing an off-campus meal plan.

Truro

Traditional residences

The Agricultural Campus in Truro offers a flat fee for continuous-dining, seven days a week.  

Students who live in traditional residences are required to have a meal plan. The meal plan is included in your residence fees so there is no need to purchase one separately.

If your student has any questions about meeting their dietary needs in the dining hall, please encourage them to reach out to the Food Services Director.

Graduate and mature housing

Students living in Graduate & Mature Housing have the option to purchase a commuter meal plan.
