Faculty of Open Learning and Career Development:

鶹ý offers an Employee Tuition Waiver Benefit, a program designed to promote continuous learning and development among its staff. This initiative not only encourages lifelong learning but also enriches the skills and knowledge of university employees.

The Faculty of Open Learning and Career Development offers a wide range of non-credit courses that may be eligible for this tuition waiver benefit. We invite you to discover our programs and consider our professional development options at 鶹ý.

Queer Faculty Staff Caucus (QFSC):

The QFSC is a group of 2SLGBTQIA+ identified staff and faculty members from 鶹ý and King’s that promotes awareness of and education around 2SLGBTQIA+ identities and communities; engages in social justice activities that improve the working and learning environments for queer faculty and staff; and provides support and social opportunities for 2SLGBTQIA+ staff, faculty, and the broader communities. Join us at our booth to learn more about the QFSC—about ongoing projects, ways to get involved, upcoming social events, and leadership opportunities.

Black Faculty and Staff Caucus:

The 鶹ý Black Faculty and Staff Caucus was formed by Dr. Afua Cooper after her arrival as the Johnston Chair in Black Canadian Studies in the summer of 2011. The Mandate of the Black Faculty & Staff Caucus is To serve as a voice for the concerns of the Black communities at 鶹ý, particularly faculty, and staff, by bringing these concerns to the Board of Governors, the Senate, senior administration, and others as appropriate.
