Environmental Engineering

The Master of Engineering (MEng) Program is oriented towards professional engineers and recent engineering graduates who wish to upgrade their skills and who have no intention of pursuing advanced research at the PhD level. A candidate for the MEng Program must have obtained an undergraduate degree in engineering or its equivalent with high scholastic achievement from a recognized university.

The Master of Applied Science (MASc) Program is directed towards engineers and recent graduates wishing to undertake research in environmental engineering and who might wish to advance to a PhD program at some point. A candidate for the MASc Program must have obtained an undergraduate degree in engineering or science (with honours) or its equivalent with high scholastic achievement from a recognized university.  

It is possible to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a research area related to environmental engineering through one of the seven engineering departments at Â鶹´«Ã½ (i.e. , , , , , , and . To be considered for entrance, a candidate must have a research Master's degree in engineering or a Master of Science degree from any recognized university.    

Faculty

Faculty who teach and oversee research projects in the Environmental Engineering Program are from the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Engineering and the School of Resource and Environmental Studies at Â鶹´«Ã½ as well as the Agricultural Campus in Truro. Each candidate accepted into the Environmental Engineering Program will be assigned to a faculty member who will supervise the student's thesis or project.
